We repaired & refurbished Derek Chisora’s alloy wheels for him, the former British, Commonwealth and European boxing champion’s rims were looking a little dazed from knock out blows with the kerb. We were contacted by Mr Chisora because he wanted a company that had a reputation for being professional, reliable and able to do a good job, he wanted Just Wheel Repair. One of our alloy wheel repair and refurbishment operatives went to visit him, to see the full extent of the job involved and to discuss the desired alloy wheel finish.
We then removed all of the alloy wheels, leaving the car on axle stands and started the alloy wheel repair and refurbishment work on the premises. We sanded all of the damaged, kerbed areas of the wheels and then applied a high-build primer to the exposed alloy, leaving this to cure under our infrared long wave lighting. The wheels were then sanded back to ensure smoothness and a black gloss top coat was applied. The alloy wheels were then left under the lamps to cure once again. To finish it all off, we then applied a 2k high gloss lacquer to bring out the shine on his alloys and cured them again in the same way. The mobile alloy wheel refurbishment (As per usual with Just Wheel Repair) came out beautifully, they were in showroom condition again and made a huge difference to the look of the whole car. Derek was really happy with the job and couldn’t hide his delight, he was even kind enough to give us a pose in front of one of our vans.
